Dirt on valves

Hello guys I’m putting my supercharger back on in a couple of days after my gaskets arrive and today I cleaned the area of where the supercharger sits. When I was taking the supercharger off I tried being as careful as possible not to get dirt in but it was inevitable and some dirt fell into the engine. I stuck my vacuum in there and tried sucking as much out as I could but there is still some left. And on one of the cylinders the valves were down so they didn’t even catch the dirt. I took some pics after cleaning it do you guys think I’m all good and shouldn’t worry or I should try taking more out. If you have suggestions on how to clean it out lmk.

Here’s one of them you can see some debris

Here’s another

Here are the valves that stayed open and the dirt fell all the way through

I would vacuum more out if you can. Maybe put a fuel line size hose taped to the vacuum inlet and try and suck it out.
A tip I can give you for the future is I always wash the supercharger down along the sides of the runners and blow out every nook and cranny near and around the injectors before I pull the blower off.
This way nothing will fall in like what's happened here.

thank you one more questions I’m swapping my pulley onto the “new” used supercharger and the black magnet looks different is there a reason for this?

The holes are just to let air out when clutch pulls the pulley plate in...but no difference really.

hey sicamg so I was draining the supercharger oil right before I was gonna put the supercharger on the car and I was following what a video was doing which was to put a wire on the tube so it could bend and get the most oil out. And the frickin wire came off the tube when I was pulling it out. God I just keep messing up with this car. What can I do to get that out I’m planning on unbolting the front snout and taking it out. That way all the oil will be out aswell. Because the fill/drain hole is too small to get it back out.

Well that really sucks !! Yea pull the front nose off and get the wire out...that would be the only way to do it.

Is it just unbolt, remove, and bolt back up? Or is there something special to it?

Hey I took off my front nose and took the pin out 🥳. For some reason there was barely any oil in there. I’m confused as to why because the video I watched took out 120ml and put in a little more. The bearings look great though. How much ml should I be putting in I’ve heard people filling it until it comes out the hole? And can I just reuse that gasket because the dealer takes 2-3 days for it to get here and I really don’t want to wait. And thanks SICAMG for all the quick replies would’ve taken me forever to finish this project because I don’t know crap about these superchargers.

People on that tread said put in the same amount you took out but this amount of oil is far too little. Should I just put in the full 150ml because I’m 100% all the oil is out?

Jep, that is what I would have done if all the oil is out (see around 3:55)

Is this hole normally not covered?

Its on the driver side and that tape is covering the injector hole. It wasn’t covered when I took it apart either.

I believe that is the place where the SAI valve should sit.

so I put my whole engine bay back together last night and that part was still open even after I put the sai valve up. The tape was covering the sai valve hole and the injectors came after. What could it be? It’s only on the driver side? Once everything is back together you cannot see the hole at all but it’s still open.
