Nevertheless, interesting tidbit....new M5 does Nordschliefe Nurburgring in 8.13, wait for it......SL55 in 8.12!!!! :p

Bilal, you would have had the same effect for me if you posted it in the M5 forum ... I drive an E55 and don't frequent the CLS forum of M5.

does it seem possible to retrofit, when available, the steering rack and other suspension changes from the cls55 to the e55.? or are the changes just too intrinsic to the car? I thought I read that the november on 05s will have the new rack, but nothing about bushing etc. changes.

You could probably do the retrofit, but it will be cheaper to just trade for a new E55, as they will also get the upgrades.
