1/4 Mile Times at track today
Sorry, but I don't have a scanner.
Today, my car (Renntech ECU and Pulley), Spero's (stock W211 E55), and 2 other W210 E55s hit the track.
For the most part, I kept hitting 12.2s @ 116mph. Best run as 12.1 @ 117.
Spero's best time was 12.5 @ 112 and he was pretty consistent at 12.6 @ 111.
Most of our runs were head to head. What we noticed is that both cars are pretty even coming out of the gate and around 90ish the Renntech car starts to pull away.
Temp today was 61 degrees and felt pretty humid (started to rain after we left).
We tried running with ESP off (we got worst times with ESP off).
The W210s were hitting consistent 13.5 and 13.6.
Then a Trailer brought a souped up Trans AM with slicks and best times he hit was 11.9.
There was a modded Trans Am (loud as heck) and his best time was 12.9.
We plan on hitting the track again around Jan hoping to catch a 30's degree day.
Spero and I had a blast today! We learned so much about our cars.

Everyone who owns a AMG needs to run it at the track. What a BLAST!!!!!
Running mid to low 12's in a 4 door luxury sedan shocks all those hardcore track folks.
