Hit there, just bought an 2005 e55 with 146K. The car does have some modifications making around 560-600hp. It seems to blow blue smoke after being idle and then pressing the accelerator pedal and in hot conditions when sitting in traffic etc but when accelerating no smoke. It doesn’t blow smoke when cold or getting up to temperature. Any help appreciated

Blue smoke is oil burning. Not good. Impossible to diagnose over the internet.

clearly burning oil, but the conditions sound more like valve stem seals

immediately do an oil change with mobil 1 5w 40 and see if it still does it in the same conditions.
