Need help: Dead Battery, Locked Doors, Broken Mechanical Key
My E55 has been parked for 2-3 months and the battery has gone dead.
The current situation:
- Doors are locked
- Keyless entry isn't functioning
- Mechanical key on my only key fob was broken off by the previous owner
Questions:
1. What are my options to access the car?
2. Can a locksmith open the car without causing damage?
3. Is it possible to open the hood from underneath without first pulling the interior release?
Once I gain access under the hood my plan is to find a way to get enough of a charge to unlock the car/trunk, and then charge the main battery normally. Any advice or alternative solutions would be appreciated.
