Edit: Yeah, I'm sure you own those cars buddy. I have an Enzo in the garage too, all I have to do is find a pic of one and post it on the fourms and everyone will believe me.

1) i cleared the memory slots as per the instructions.
2) i programmed memory slot 2 with my girlfriend's clicker, and the light blinked quickly and learnt the code.
3) when i came home and tried to teach it my garage's code, no love. the light blinks slowly forever and never learns.
what i've noticed is that the garage door opener for my house seems to send a signal for about a second and then stops transmitting. is this common? has anyone run into this type of problem? any suggestions?
i've tried teaching the remote inside and outside of the garage. and the rear view mirror does work with regards to learning as it learnt another remote. i even re-initialized and tried teaching it in different slots. worked again with one garage door opener at my girlfriend's place. but not at mine.
comments, suggestions....
thx.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I have an Enzo and a Zonda but I don't feel like posting pictures!

It's easy to sit and find pics on the M3 Forums to use as your own, it doesn't mean crap to me. I still call bullcrap!
PS Got my garage opener working, how's yours Skippy?

If you could post the brand and model of your opener, someone may be able to help. I have a Genie that has the rolling codes. It was difficult to get it to program, but I finally got it by using the button on the opener. My understanding is that trying to use the remote won't work.
Hope this helps.

since i can't get the remote to program the RVM, i skip to step 6 which is press the learning button on the Genie, and then press button 1, 2 or 3 on the RVM. The Genie does not recognize any signal from the RVM at all. Which would make sense since nothing is programmed there. How do I get the RVM to send a signal to the Genie? Or am I just doing something wrong.
Please advise here guys.

and
http://www.homelink.com/program/rolling.html if necessary
Hint: When programming the remote to the homelink button of choice, turn off power to the garage door opener so the door doesn't go crazy. If you're continuing with a rolling code setup, obviously restore power to the Genie before proceeding.
Hope that helps - I know it can be frustrating, but usually it's because you skipped a step.
