2003 E55 Flashing Engine Light After Ball Joint Replacement
Hey Guys and Gals of the MBWorld,
I went through the arduous task (for me) of replacing both the front lower control arms and linkages. These items were replaced and torqued down, once I went to go take a test drive I would make it out of the driveway and onto the road where if I accelerate any speed over idle I get a flashing check engine light and the autobrakes or slows down to idle speeds. Any ideas what this might be? Both the front and rear airbags sink over a week or so which did not happen before the "operation" this is odd considering I did not touch the rear of the vehicle. I am thinking it has something to do with a sensor throwing the air pressure out of wack.
P.S. It's also a little crunchy when turning, perhaps an alignment issue, would a bad enough alignment issue cause this?
Sincerely,
Nate
