I can't close the trunk it's stuck halfway
2005 e55 Battery was dead, now I can't close the trunk with the button or by hand.
I can't even push it closed it's stuck on some gear halfway
What do you do?

By chance would the manual release latch under the third brake light be stuck in the "open" position? In the past, my trunk was stuck like yours and it was the latch was stuck in the "open" position. Once I pushed the latch back to the "closed" position, it was fine.
