the ultimate tool to install euro bumper strips
other posts say i need a special wedge which can only be ordered from glass specialty stores.
there has to be a way....
i give you the tool. it costs $29.99, and if you want the family size one, it costs $49.99. drum roll please....
oh, and it comes with a george foreman grill. it's the grease spatual that comes with every george foreman grill to clean the grooves after you cook. its very slick plastic, bendable, but hard enough to not give too much. also, i did not have any fear that the paint would be damaged at any time in the process.
it slides in the top and the bottom of the standard bumper strips by the parking light to unlock the latches there quite easily. then the rest is an easy task. just slide the stock one out (take care of the light), and slide the new one back in. (i'm simplifying the light issue, but i need to get back to studying). whole process took 10 minutes for both strips.
thanks to scorchie for the encouragement. thanks to george for the tool!
steve and scorchie, thanks for the great looking euro strips. they definitely make the car.
cheers,
Gareth
since i am studying for a legal exam, i have to put a disclaimer here. use this tool at your own risk. i neither endorse it nor recommend that you use it. but it worked damn well for me.

Were do I find High Temp Tape, Is it a heat shrink type plastic, or is just simply a type of tape like electrical tape? Also wondering if I am supposed wrap just the end of the cable or the whole light housing in the high temp tape?
J-
I originally asked one of the vendors and they told me it was a 4 or 5 week wait.
Thanks in advance.
