It's been a long time since I had my 06 E55 back in 2010... But now Im back! Im in the process of picking up a 07 E63 thats is good condition but that Im going to be restoring a bit to bring it back to its glory days and feel of when it was newer... and then making it my daily driver : )

So I look forward to to being part the community again and learning from everyone here.

My car has 112k miles and previous owner had it for 7 years and looks like he took care of it. That being said Im going to take my car straight to my MB tech to have him go through the car so we can do any work that needs to be done.
I read a lot of things on the M156 so Im familiar with some of the common issue to be aware of. But are there anythings in the car that you guys would recommend me to pay special attention to OR to go ahead and do to have a good solid reliable car to daily drive? Im going to try to do a good amour of servicing to have a good baseline for things on the car.

 

This is the list I have going so far....

- Engine oil change
- Transmission oil change
- Differential oil change
- Change Air Filter & Change Cabin Air Filter
- Coolant Flush
- Brake fluid Flush
- Power Steering Flush
- Change Spark plugs
- Change serpentine belt
- Check/change Engine & Tranny mounts
- Replace injectors as they are known for getting stuck open
- Check Battery
- Check Brakes
- Check Air suspension
- Replace head bolts issue? or test for smoke smell on coolant OR sweet exhaust smell
- Check Camshafts, lifters, etc?
- Replace any gaskets to prevent oil leaks?
