I agree with Harris...the AMG engraving is missing on the wheels

Last time someone checked, TireRack had the real OEM 19"AMG rims for about $1,200 a rim.
Sam, please do not put those rims on your wonderful car.
You get what you pay for

Sam,
If you like, you can swing by at take a look at my OEM 19" AMG rims before making a purchase. I have stock 18" with winter tires on the car but have my 19" rims and tires in my garage. I live in Bethesda, so if you want to see them let me know.
Alex has the HRE's which also look great and lives in the area.

What is wrong with the ASA replicas?
The replicas in this case (ASA) are not only as good as the "Genuine" AMG wheels but better. This is because ASA is a technical partner of BBS. They have casting technology licensed from BBS. The ASA replicas are one piece made to look just like the multipiece AMG wheels. Structually they are just as good, except they are way lighter! Check out the tire rack site- the ASA wheels weigh 27lbs/f and 30lbs/r while the AMG versions weigh 34.5/f and 35.3/r.
Why would you pay over 5 times the money for heavier wheels? For the "AMG" cast into them??

OEM AMG Rims on TireRack for all four is $5096 plus shipping. I am not a rim expert, but I am sure the AMG rims are priced as such for a reason and not just because AMG is stamped on the rim.
Maybe Harris can chime in....

If I understand it, the replicas are not true 2-piece wheels, but rather one-piece wheels with fake rivets. Some of these replicas (beware 'silver finish' notation) are Asian-made with plastic fake rivets and a finish that doesn't hold up very well over time.

Sam,
I love these rims
I just have them off for the winter since I am using the stock rims as dedicated winter rims with snow/ice tires. They will be going back on in March.
I like these rims better then HRE's since I wanted a stock look. These rims are the same ones that come on the 65's. You will love the increased road feel you get with the 19" rims and running lower profile and wider rear rubber.
My buddy who has the HRE's has told me that he likes the look of my 19" rims over his. It was important to me to keep the car looking stock and I am sure a future buyer down the road will value a AMG product over aftermarket. This is same reason I ordered the OEM AMG LSD system that should be arriving in a few months.
I will be flying out of town tomorrow and returning Saturday afternoon. If you want to come by and see the rims and how the tires look just send me a PM. I purchsed my rims from TireRack with tires last spring. The rims at that time were only about $900 each. They have gone up about $300 a rim
My only guess is that the 65's are out and people want them more.

I dont see anything wrong with some knockoff's... hell that way youve got your original factory, (EXPENSIVE), rims tucked away and safe. I on the underhand had the misfortune of slamming a curb while evading something. I mean... how can it be raining, your getting pursued, your going down a hill a normal car would have to drop into 1st to get up due to the severe decline, your srs goes out at the same time so your pumping your breaks, turning, pumping, sliding, turning while pumping all in not more than 100 feet or more. I barely hit the curb but severely damaged the alignment, rim and more. I guess it could have been worse seeing how i missed the fire hidrant and missed flying off into some high class comunities pond.
Im debating on what rims to get now. Those 19 look decent. Im speaking with a fella that can do 18x8.5 monoblock in the front and 18x9.5 monoblock with a 2inch lip in the rear for near 1000 or 300 more for chromed. 18's I think are as big as im going to go. I want performance still and need to be able to move without worry about busting a rim incase something is to happen.
