Chasing a annoying buzzing noise from my E55

I’ve been getting this sound for a while. Changed a bunch of stuff to no success. Car is at 141k miles, 77mm fixed pulley with split cooling. Drives totally fine, no lumpy idle and pulls hard.

I have replaced so far -

rocker cover through to throttle body breather pipes

Drivers side rocker cover gasket and breather cover

disconnected the secondary air pump as I was told by many people it was that. No change.

passenger side surge tank gasket (drivers side i’ll do this week along with throttle body gasket)

So other than the throttle body and drivers side surge tank gasket which I’m swapping out this week, if they don’t fix the issue what else should I be looking at? I’m new to doing mechanical bits myself but determined to fix it ahaha.

When is the last time the oil in the supercharger was changed? And how long has that fixed pulley been on? Back when I had my e55, fixed pulleys were always considered to be rough on all the systems, to include heat and wearing out supercharger bearings. SICAMG or BBIRDWELL would be the best resources here imo. Before spending money on lots of parts, you might want to smoke test it, or run some codes and datalog if you think it's an intake issue.

Keep going in the direction you are going. If still noisy, remove the supercharger belt and rotate the supercharger by hand to determine if the noise is coming from the rear bearings of the supercharger. Front bearings are oil bath; rear bearings are greased and can and do fail. If so, replacements are available, parts list is on this site, and if that is the issue, can be remedied in a day of work.

Yep and if still there with blower belt off...remove engine serpentine belt and check it. That is a very odd sound for sure!
Also if it runs correctly and idles normal it should not be a leak anywhere since the MAP sensor would pick it up and then the ECU would have a fit and throw codes.

I definitely think it’s due a supercharger service but I forgot to mention that I took the supercharger belt off and the noise was still there. I now have a feeling it’s the throttle body itself.
