Which ECU did that match to?
I heard they are very specific especially with the Bosch model otherwise you can brick an ecu -

Hi.If you have no way to verify that the code I provided is good, I suggest you not use it. When I bought my E55,there were "unknown issues" with it (since sorted). The PO had "upgraded" to Eurocharge Stage 2, and I wanted to "downgrade" to the stock code. I asked the PO for the Eurocharge and original code, and he sent it to me. What I sent you was what the shop backed up when they installed the Eurocharge "upgrade", however, I have not personally verified that the code is "good". If you tell me where t find the info you're looking for, I will go find it, but that does not eliminate the variables I described above. Good luck.
