New E55 NavDVD fail to read

Hello all. Just bought an '05 on 12/21. Navigation was working. Now system says "insert Nav DVD". Of course, its ALREADY INSTALLED. I tried removing/inserting to no avail. Misplaced my manual already...

Any ideas ? Is there a reset button, couldn't find it if so. Thanks

The last time that happened to me the dealer installed a brand new comand system. Of course, it kept happening a lot and for no reason. It also started to chew up cd's pretty well when I used the navigation drive as an in-dash cd player.

Happy Holidays.

...that is the price to pay when one wants to drive an up-to-date computer on wheels...no matter how many figure vehicles, as soon as computers are in control, components need to be reset every once in a while...

greetingz,
