How long can car sit before worrying about battery?
Since we got about 6" inches of snow yesterday and have no reason to drive it in the slush and mess (have a company car) was wondering how long I can keep the car in the garage before I have battery problems.
About a month ago the car would not start after sitting only about a week. Roadside had to jump. Got the "reduced braking effect" message and the message about the "consumers"...
Should I just start the car and let it run for a little while, or will that do more harm than good? Note to self: Remember to open garage door!!!

shouldn't be a problem, I've left mine for up to 2 weeks without any effect. Its the 2.5 months that's got it acting up. Even then no problem starting just battery protection mode for about 5 minutes
