I took in my 04 for the brake recall after waiting long enough to allow techs to learn how to do it right.
On the way back (it was snowing, lot of snow on the ground):
1. the brakes felt different -- a lot of play in the pedal it seemed
2. the parking sensor seemed to come on whenever I braked
3. in auto mode, the windshiled wipers seemed very relucatnat to come on -- doing so only when I could barely see.
Can this happen due to the work on the recall? Does it make sense.
BTW, handled 8 inches of snow pretty well on stock Contis.

I could probably chalk the parking sensors and windshield wipers up as snow related.
BUT the brake peddle would fall under the category of ‘the tech’s should have waited even longer to learn how to do what they were doing properly‘.
