On yours (2003) there were three menus to set as well...instead of system diagnoses (that IS the name of the third menu...why do I keep forgetting?) your third setting was in the pass side door control module...

Beowulf - good to see you are satisfied!

greetingz,
Mine DOES have the System Diagnosis menu setting... which we never set but was set nonetheless... it doesn't seem to be anything more than having POWER MIRRORS there, not folding mirrors (or maybe the terms used in English are wrong, I dunno). But the one in the right door control module... that didn't do anything, remember? Or it wasn't set... or something weird. Or maybe it changed due to DAS software upgrades (we were using the real old one that couldn't even figure out what my car was, remember?).

2005 E55, 1959 220s Cabriolet, some other stuff too...
I just did a bunch of research on this topic. Is it true that you cannot get power folding mirrors on any year e55, or with any option package? Is it available at all? '05 or '06 cars? I can't believe they do not offer this as an option on US e55s!

My parts guy initially thought it mightve been an option on 06's due to seeing them on his system when they were first coming out, but sales obviously said no they aren't. Oh well.
