2005 E55 Vs 2004 300c Hemi
I ran a 300c Hemi today. I had 3 people in car one at 6'5 315 lbs on one at 150 plus my gurth of 215lbs . From a light he hit it with tire spin off the line. I hit it just after him, never got a hair on the E55 put 10+ on him from 0-100. Those cars are slow.
Question is will the SRT-8 be any better with it's extra 85hp? I was thinking about buying one to replace the high mile GS400 I have now that is a 3rd car. I can sell it for $16,000 and the SRT-8 is $44,000 loaded. So payments for 5 years will be low and I will have a newer car. I was also going to add a 100hp-150hp shot of NOS to it. Maybe put some 27's Lexani's and my company logos for advertising.

Magazines this month test the SRT-8 and the best 1/4 mile e.t. I have seen is 13.2@108. The standard 300C Hemi runs 13.9-14.2@99 according to the magazines I have read. Supposedly the SRT-8 handles quite well with the 20" wheel/tire combo that is included in the package.

I will try to run this 300c with my GS400 I have no idea how it runs. I would like to see if it is running 13.9 or better? I should be able to take the 300c in the GS400 with the mods it has.

I have a brand new 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with Hemi power for my winter rides in the snow . I also just picked up a brand new 2005 E55.
You don't have to worry about any Hemi. The E55 would kill it every time all day long. Trust me on this.
Best Wishes,
MBH

Raced some kid in a Dodge Magnum Hemi with manufacturers plate when they first came out. It was over quickly. Just blew him off like it was no contest. They're fast for medium priced Detroit Iron but a race against an E55 is just silly.
