I'm going to get my E55 dyno'd next week, but I have heard there might be some problems with the ESP, since the front tires will not be moving. Do I have to disconect anything? Any info will help.
Thanks

Most models have a DYNO mode that can be selected in order to shut off ABS, ESP and BAS.
Not sure about 1999, but this is how I got my 2003 CL55 into Dyno mode:

Do a search for my posts, I was able to dyno my '02 E55 by unplugging the ESP module in the engine bay. It will trigger a warning light on the dash but it goes away shortly after you drive and it's plugged back in.

where in the engine bay is it? Also what is a K2 on your 02 55? What mods were on the car.Originally Posted by Marcus Frost

It is covered by a plastic panel towards the firewall on the passenger side.Originally Posted by E55Cent

K2 was just the code for the hands-free cellphone package.
No mods except a thermotec airbox. I did like 296 rwhp & 324rwtq.
