Annoying seat belt chimes
I know this has been discussed here before, but searching has not helped. How can I get these annoying seat belt chimes turned off?
TIA Randy

Been emailing my Sales person for the last few hours on this subject.
My chime is set off by a bag of groceries on the seat and it does not shut off. Ridiculous. So far I'm getting the "There is no way we will disconnect the chime due to liability reasons" runaround. ThemisN posted the cure during the month of December, but you still have to find a technician to do it.

i think its annoying specially when the passanger is too lazy to wear their seat belt, an easy way out of it is to buy the buckle and just leave it in. by the way the chime turns of after a few min of driving but starts again when coming into a complete stop.
