Pictures of My New E55
Had the car for 10 days already and only 50 miles on the odometer. I basicaly drove the beast home and parked it because the weather in the north east has been a little less than perfect the say the least. Thanks to Chris from Long Island for answering all my silly questions about the car 2 months ago and directing me to a good dealer.

Congrats. Nice choice. Unique and tasteful combo. I was not bold enough to try the blue inserts, but it looks great! Now I recommend getting 1. this, 2. this, and 3. this painted body color.

Out Of Control!!
Good choice
I ordered that exact same interior combination on Jan 21st. I was beginning to wonder if I had made a mistake, since I have not been able to see any examples. Your photos just confirmed that my choice is a good one. Thanks for posting them and beautiful car. Where did you get the pedals? I will do the same to my car when it comes in. Also, did AMG floor mats come with the car from the factory? Thanks in advance.

Congrats on the new beast. I am sure you will have just as much fun driving it as all of us here.
But, is it just me or does something look wrong with the front brakes??

2005 E55 Delivered 01/07/05
WOW, nice car. Only drove it 50 miles in 2 weeks???
My car was delivered on 01/07/05 from Ray Catena Mercedes of Edison and I have 502 miles on her now. Come on the weather wasn't that bad up until this weekend. My car is now in my climate controlled heated warehouse.
Best Wishes with your new baby, she's beautifull,

Thanks for the complements gentlemen. I will try to see if I can adhere to my mothers advice for now. She stopped by to take a look at the car and toss some change on the floor for good luck. As she walked away she said "congratulations and don't take it apart". LOL, I guess she knows me.
With that said I think I waited long enough, let the mods begin.
eagleeye, looks nice but can I remove the sat antenna from the trunk and mount it on the inside rear deck and then plug the remaining hole with a small black plug.
I also worried about the color combo after I placed my order but I could not be happier with it after seeing it and taking it all in. My sales women loved it when it finally arrived as I think she was used to seeing the standard color combo. The pedals are stock items and so are the mats.
Mbfanatic, I touched up the rotors with a little photo shop so the rust would not show
Yes the steering wheel is a nice touch.
Now I just have to wait for the 24" snow drifts to melt so I can drive it.

The design folks at MB did a great job on this car. It looks really good in every conceivable color combination. The Blue with the Walnut is beautiful. I showed mine to a friend who has a brand new Silver 997 and all he could say as he sat in the car is "I'm so jealous, Mercedes makes the best looking interiors."

Sweet
Check this link to see what your interior will look like if you get a burled walnut steering wheel. The color isn't quite as light as the picture looks. Will match the wood exactly. MP Designs wheel.

Awesome car. I love the dark exterior, I'm just not that energetic any more. Keeping a mirror clean in Louisiana is impossible. LOL.
