2005 Brilliant Silver E55
Drove CLS500 last week...
Well, I've decided to trade my E55 in when the CLS55 arrives in March. Some of you know my car's been in the body shop for about 2 months (got her back last Friday). To my surprise, they actually did a pretty good job...doesn't matter, I'm not keeping her.
Anyway, went to MB dealer to discuss potential trade in, etc. They had a CLS500 in the showroom. I asked for it to be taken out of the show room for a test drive. The CLS500, actually had 18 inch wheels and 275's in the back (WTF...they're wider than E55 - how wrong is that), anyway I immediately noticed the steering response of the CLS. This car actually does handle better than the E55 (I can only imagine how well the CLS55 will handle). The interior is about the sam looking although I prefer the W211's interior.

True. My friend just got one and I love it. I think the windows are especially awesome. They're really narrow (I could barely fit my head out of them) and they give the car an extremely aggressive feel, yet keep the simple and stylistic lines of the car fluid.
