Never heard of the Presidential Edition? 
I believe the paint is custom or Mars Red. The Presidential is not much different than the regular E55 except for its CF interior work.

Was talking to a guy at my Dealer the other day about this Edition. I had never heard of it. He thought it was only a 2004 model.
Basically, you got "Presidential" badges on the inside and out plus the Carbon Fiber trim and the wheel upgrade. With an upcharge of 10K, he said the one they had sat around forever.

The Presidential Edition is like a Desigo option. It was marked as 072 - Presidential Edition and was a $10,500 option.
It gives you special exterior paint, exclusive interior leather and in this case, Carbon Fiber trimmings instead of Black Birdseye Maple.
