Pics Of The E55 And Question About Wheel Color
Here is a non photoshopped pic. I'm rolling on my dad's 19" wheels since I just sold the stock 18" AMG wheels that came with it. I'm looking at getting new wheels but I haven't placed the order yet.
So far the mods are the debadging, and the clear sidemarkers in the front (which are tacky, and will be painted black like the car). I still have to remove that AMG license plate frame. It doesn't get anymore tacky than that lol.
Friday I'm getting the car lowered and tint put on. HEre's what it should look like then:
Now, I'm looking at these wheels, but I don't know if I Should go black or just brushed alu. EVentually I'll have w211 e55 silver AMG big brake kit, so w/ the black it would be a nice contrast... I dunno though...your opinion?
here are the same wheels on my old car. The side of the wheels look more realistic on there.

hey, nice car, congrats!!! honestly, the brabus' look great...I'm also a huge fan of the more stock look, so I would've probably kept the AMGs or looked for 19" AMGs (any style, really) and lowered it- it would look real clean with the big silver AMG brakes. but thats not your style I guess. The wheels your considering are pretty siiick but IMO they don't match the car's lines...they're a little too much I think.

Good point oggle. While I wouldnt mind either, I think it'd be fun to go black for a change...but then again, I'm scared I'll miss the bling...then again, I'm afraid black will look smaller...then again, ....
I'm really split 50/50....
edit: If I were to do black wheels, I'd have to do the black grill, which i don't wanna do.... so 70/50 in favor of silver wheels now

No offence Doc, not feeling those wheels on the E55, black or silver...they kinda look like they'll snap under the weight of the car but of course that's JMHO......otherwise, excellent replacement bro

I think the simple solution is to roll stock silver for a while, then paint them black when you get bored. That's definitely not a decision you have to make now...get the wheels first bro
