Got my POWERCHIP today.

I had my old EuroRev software replaced with a Powerchip. PC did a dyno with the stock software, one with EuroRev and one with Powrchip.

All number are wheel/HP

Stock 294.00 hp, 306.86 TQ
EuroRev 294.80 hp, 306.86 TQ
Powrchip 310.15 hp, 323.49 TQ

My new Air/Fuel ratio was moved from 11.5 to 13.0. I guessing I should even get better mpg's.

The new Powechip made a big difference and I'm very happy. EuroRev sold me their (sh*t) software and said it was the same or better than Powerchip, so I bought it. Looking back it was a waste of time and money to use them. My car pulls much harder and I can notice the difference. My experience with PC was wonderful, they answered all my questions and went beyond the normal customer service.

By the way I was wondering what the average HP and TQ on a 210 E55 are?
Thank you
Mario

Hey Mario,

I received your messsage and a bit of static as well, but glad to hear your results with the Powerchip went well. Nice jump on the TQ! Did you get it dyno'd at Andy's shop?

Not sure, Wayne said it was a just a couple of miles away. I was in your area yesterday so I gave you a shout. I think I might have seen you driving on the 101 north bound in the Valley around 1:45pm. Was that you?

I was on my way to Powerchip to drop off my car. Kind of funny I saw you. I'm hoping I will have enough cash to do my gears this month. 3.27's Baby!

Jeez! Hurry up and buy some wheels already! If you weren't so poor, you'd have bought a few sets to try on in person.

Good choice! I went with Powerchip in my 01 a couple of months ago mainly based on the Powerchip feedback in this forum. I haven't bothered to dyno it but it produced a very noticeable improvement in acceleration.

ones too fast according to CHP!
Yep - Powerchip is the way to go. They are the best we have ever used. Thank you for posting your experiences. We get a lot of people who call and ask about EuroRev software, as they claim it is the same as Powerchip. We try to caution them and give the facts, but people think we are lying to make a sale! Thanks for showing the truth!

Thanks,
Brad

Mikey...the only recent pics I have of the wheels are the ones on the W210 forum. Maybe I'll see you at the GTG. Go with the DPEs, rare on MBs
