Sorry, bad verbage, I was talking about the intercooler (core/radiator) that's behind the front bumper. I'm thinking an aftermarket one may be more efficient.

I've sent 2 e-mails to them regarding upgrades and haven't heard back. I have the number from your stg.3 post but haven't had a chance to call. (seems to be the norm. lately)

Yes, EvoSport has a cooling package upgrade for the E55. They essentially add an additional heat exchanger in front of the stock unit, larger high capacity water pump and separate external heat exchanger water cooler.

Awiner you wouldn't happen to know the price of that would you? I would call evosport but if I could find out on the boards might as well save me a phone call

Would be interesting to see if someone would do this. Even more interesting would be with a Air to Water instead of Air to Air IC.
BTW, if your going to wait for a "Kit" to be made available you'll be waiting awhile. Any of the bigger Turbo shops that are available all over the Country are more than qualified to do something like this. I suggest you spend the 30 minutes and take a little drive to one of the shops in your area and chat with the guys who work there.
