Pulled trigger on wheels.....
After much deliberation I decided to go with 19" HRE 546r, brushed.
Should arrive in ~4 weeks.
Heard some horror stories from two different wheel vendors regarding PS2 rubber. I'm therefore going with SO3's. Anybody have any feedback on these tires?
Any recommendations on where to take them to be mounted?
I have not yet seen a pic of a w211 with the 546r's, so it should be interesting.
O yes, many pics forthcoming when they arrive.

Congratulations. The tires are definetly good, won't have any problems with them. Only tires that I hear most problems about from my customers are Yokohama tires.
As for mounting & balancing, I would just take it to a hi-performance wheel shop. Not sure if you want to trust Discount Tire, Sears, or Wal-Mart for installations. Have heard some wicked stories...

I had the S0-3's on my supra and they were great tires. Traction was great whether the pavement was dry or wet. They also seemed to last for a lot longer than I expected too. I was told about 10-12k miles but i got about 15k out of them before I replaced them. All around great tire, can't go wrong.
