How Long...

Well, it's been well over a month since the 'Check Engine' light had been on, and I can't seem to find a single open day on my hectic schedule to go and get it checked. The car jerks like crazy like it's being strangled when I pull out every morning, and from time to time lunges forward, even at a halt! I'm sure these are dangerous signs and I know I need to get it checked up, but just out of curiosity has anyone ever waited as long as me for a Check Engine repair? I hope I'm not doing harm to the engine as every day goes by, unless anyone can point out what could be happening...

Any replies will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and hope this doesn't happen to your car!

I also have a check light engine on, i made an appointment but I couldnt go, the mechanic told me that it's ok, as long as you dont notice any difference in performance or other strange things! It's been 2 weeks, probably gonna drop it off this weel, because i dont like seeing that lamp on!

I hear ya, man. I'm not liking the whirling sounds coming from underneath the hood. I really need to take it as soon as I'm free...
