+1 yeah, it looks great on a wagon too. I almost bought one, but chickened out after 3 body shops in SF told me they either couldn't touch it up or would require a lot of work to do so. Since I live in the city, scratches are pretty much unavoidable.

Matte/Satin, essentially the same thing. It's just dependent on the amount of clear used during paint. This is just my personal opinion, but I think it retracts from the elegance and class of a Benz. White and light gray can get away with it easier. I just think black makes it look unfinished (primed). Don't get me wrong, I still think it can be pulled off with proper wheels etc.. I just prefer a nice shiny coat. But to each their own, and your car is about what you like, not pleasing others.

I might be old school but if I'm going to pay over $100,000 for a car it damn well better shine. Flat or satin paint reminds me of the 55 Chevy's painted hot rod primer gray back in high school.

But i fully agree a matte grey and flat back looks bad. But the car i posted has a pearl shine to it and a sheen that reflects the perfect amount of light. That car is actually famous and this picture you can see see the sheen

The color change on this is nuts. And the sheen from shiny to matte to satin and everything in between. All depends on the angle of the light. The place we had wrap the car loved it so much the changed their cover photo. And they have wrapped some serious cars uncluding a burnt orange AMG GTS. Look up Apex customs on facebook.

Finally installed my Renntech carbon fiber trunk spoiler.
I also detailed the car: Mezerna 400 (cutting), 4500 (polishing), and finished it off with Wolfgnag Deep gloss paint 3.0 sealant. Still need to shine the black trim, shine the exhaust tips, clean the glass, and wheels
