they come off, just like any other badges, because they're only put on with double stick tape. If you're car is less than 6 months, they should just come off. The hard part is cutting more double stick tape to put on the back of it!
Or if you're lazy you can just buy them from the dealer $60 per side. Or you can get it on ebay for $10, but they don't have the new AMG style.
+1 I was disappointed the W212 didn't have the interior touches of the W211.
FYI got a new picture of my diffuser up! and the rear roof spoiler.

I collected yesterday my 500miles old 2015 / MY16 E63 with optional AMG LSD. It was pretty rare to find a new RWD car with that production year.
The reason I'm living in Germany with the Autobahn option I don't need traction from 1st gear and I was pretty astonished how well the LSD RWD car accelerate also from the start.
First way was not home... it was to an Mercedes coding expert near Stuttgart and he retrofitted the normally not available Apple CarPlay !!! LOVE IT
Next step KW springs

Thanks mate !!!
You need the 2015 NTG 5 for Apple CarPlay first. So if you have a 2014 you need to find a retrofitter for the NTG 5.
The Apple CarPlay will be coded as far as I know to the Mercedes database with your VIN. After the retrofit it is in the fitment list of your car (VIN based) in the worldwide Mercedes database.
I need to ask if this is possible on the air or by OBD

Just realized I never posted pics of my E63 when I joined... here it is a few days after I got it. Since then the mods have begun in earnest, when those are completed I will post updated pics.

I really wish I had the carbon package under the hood. I picked up an interior trim kit, but I want the engine covers too.. Can't see spending the loot though.. geez it's big bucks

You have an '11 correct? Benz never made a factory M156 carbon engine cover, only for the 2012+ M157 turbo equipped cars. The carbon cover on the M157 is badass though, if thats what you are referencing!

Oh I know factory wasn't an option, but there are plenty of after market pieces out there. They are just crazy money for something you rarely see. Thinking about hydrographic dipping the covers and ROW boxes

I hear you, I had the Renntech CF Box + SLR throttle body on my E55 and absolutely loved it. I just saw gruppe M released a carbon ntake shroud cover for the W204 C63 and it looks pretty solid, but $$$.
