AMG Forged 5-double spoked wheels from Performance Pack
I am considering buying a set of the AMG five double spoked wheels from the
Performance Pack. The ones I am looking at come with Pirelli P Zeros.
In Canada they are now a stand aolone option. I think they look good.
Has anyone got any comments on this option? Durability of the finish? are they
powder coated or painted? Quality of the ride? Tire wear and performance?
Any feedback would help real soon - Thanks a lot.

My 2010 E63 came with 19" forged from the factory.
If I can choose, I prefer 18" because it is more comfortable.
I prefer Michelin Pilot sport over Pirelli P zeros, as michelin ride better.
Also I'd wait a few months until Pilot sport 3 is available for Mercedes OEM.
The PS3 would be better than current PS2

E63 optional 19" forged wheels
that option? Does this mean that you are all driving on the 18" stock wheels?

MBWorld Fanatic!
I believe the performance package was fairly rare in the first round of 212, may explain the lack of response.
These wheels are forged....very impressive.

I've got the same set of wheels (the 19s) on my SL... I know its a different car, but they look great and I get a good ride.. no complaints on my side! plus.. they look much better than the 18s imo! I've attached a picture of my rims... I believe they're the same ones?

While I do not have the 19" rims on my car, I do not think they are uncommon.

the Pirellis for Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. Until then I was riding on a set of
19" replicas (cast alloy) that looked like yours, and the same tires but 275 in
the back and 245 in the fromt. What is really surprising is that the ride is a
lot better on the wider tres ? Reason
With the same aspect ratio, would those 3 mm worth of more rubber hight
make a big difference?
the CL63 style forged AMG wheels also availble on all S and SL derrived
cars. I think they are even better looking than the E63 wheels I bought (
( I am not crazy about the little "spokelet" you noticed ), but they were a
deal, plus they are the offcial E63 wheel. What is upsetting though is that AMG
could not bring themselves to powder coat their hyper-expensive wheels
instead of painting. If that is true - it sucks!!
