Question
On a related note, is the factory alcantara headliner no longer available? It was a neat part of the optioned W211s and would be a dumb move if this was dropped for the W212s...

fwiw, it was standard on the W211 E63s. Then dropped completely with the first year 2010 W212 (along with some other cost cutting.) It returned once again with the 2011 W212.

Ah, thanks for the thorough answer. Did not know it was ever std, and also good they learned from their 2010 mistake. Having been in cars with it, alcantara is a "must have" option for a sports sedan closely followed by a leather dash...

Yes - they took the alcantara away in 2010. Back for 2011. Leather dash is also standard for 2011 I believe.

The one other item they took away was the passanger side driver adaptive seats - no massage or dynamic function! My passengers loved the massage feature of my 2005 E55. now its gone, even if you get the dynamic seats option (only driver has it now)

How much for a suede headliner for a 2010 E63 AMG? Also, what colors do you have? This car has white ash interior so would be looking to match that and not go with a dark headliner.

Also, how much for carbon fiber trim for that car?
