I have two mercedes wheel locks on my amg 19" wheels but i recently purchased a set of aftermarket locks from a local shop to go as a third lock (i recently had wheels stolen off my old car so I take precautions)
the after market lock i got was imported, non name brand, but looked good.
My only problem is that i noticed the lugs were a little longer then factory.
The locks dimensions were 14 x 1.50, and i know most gorilla locks for our cars are 12x1.5.
the guy at the shop said that the locks are a little longer then oem, but he said longer is fine, when they are shorter its a problem. He installed the locks and the car feels fine.
My main concern is that this dimensions of this lock is too long for my wheels and can potentially risk not holding the wheel in place tight.
can someone please elaborate if this is concern or not.
