I am currently an E550 driver: I have been daydreaming about ordering an AMG of the same w212amg........built one online last night and wanted to get ANY kind of input or advice or whatever in regards to AMG's.......
particulary the E63.......

Drove in the e550 and own a e63, you cant really even compare the two cars. The e63 just has that much more power and that much better handling. Both are great cars though. If you are a modding ***** def wait for the new engine, otherwise save yourself a lot of money and purchase the 2011 or if any 2010's are left.

I would say to wait until the new model/engine comes out which I think is usually around August and then buy it then.
Probably save yourself a ton of $$$... Everyone will want to buy the newer model and the older model will probably need to be unloaded at a tremendous savings.
Always sucks to buy the first year release of a new car. Especially with all of the new changes to the engine they have made.
