Battery Drain Warning
My 2010 E63 needed to be jump started twice in the last 2 weeks. ( 6 months old and only 6k miles) Took it to my local dealer and after the second day they diagnosed it as an excessive drain due to the evaporator fan (?) running on too long after shutdown. They recharged the battery and re-programmed the ECU. So far no more problem. The SA advised this was a common problem with E63s however my paperwork shows no service advisory number so I'm not really convinced. Anyone else experienced this?

It happened twice to mine as well (Apr. and May). My dealer spent less a day in both incidents and explained to me that this is a known issue and it was caused by firmware bug in older version.
The source to drain the battery was that, with older version, car computer would remain on occasionaly after engine shut off. If car parks long enough, then, the computer will drain the battery.
So, what they told me was that they updated firmware to fix the problem. So far it has been ok.
