W212 E63 20" Wheel Tire upgrade
I have just ordered some Vorsteiner 20" Rims, f 9" R 10", having problems finding tires, I wanted to get the Continental Conti 5P they are new:
F: 255/30/20
R: 295/25/20 - Was told that 305/25/20 is no good.
What are people using out there ? Size etc.
I am looking for an improvement on the rubber, came with PZero's... the local dealer is trying to sell me PZero NERO's for them but I see that as a step backwards.
Any advise experiences appreciated.
Thanks
Rich

I have the same size wheels that you do but I dont know your offsets. Mine are:
20x9 et29
20x10 et39
I run 255x30 and 295x25 Nitto Invos- its one the very few tires I can run and not rub- Im lowered about 40mm. The rounder soundwall of the Japanese tire is optimal for my set up. But my offsets, especially in the rear are very aggressive. You situation may vary based on the offset.

The fronts look to be ok- I run a half inch less wide with a 29 offset and have some room in the wheel well.
The rears on yours have 6mm less agressiveness but are half an inch or about 12mm wider (but that is 6mm on each side of the rim) so its close. PS2's are very square so if you are lowered I think you will most likely rub in the rear.
What kind of wheels?
