Hi guys,i'm about to put down my deposit for the new 2012 E63,well i'm pretty sure i will order the performance package other than that i notice there is the ceramic brakes and carbon fibre interior and exterior.other than these things do anyone know whether there are any other options can add on to it???
in the perforamance package...includes the 22KW gain on the 5.5 Bi-turbo
and LSD 40% lock...is that correct...?
pls advise wht other options will there be as my dealer cannot provide any info at this moment...

I don't know if you're going to be able to get any good answers yet. While many options have been confirmed, no one has confirmed how they will be packaged. Also, Austrailian cars may not be packaged the same as North American cars.

I just know the performance pkg is a "must have" unless you're going to mod it aftermarket. It adds not only the 40hp you mention but also 75 lb/ft. At the base level the 5.5tt is disappointing, the pp really opens it up. If I get around to an E63 next year, that will be the only option I am 100% going for even though I think it's a disgrace MB are charging us to add power to their performance line.

Agree with u but on the other hand I think the power option isn't
That much of a great deal cos u can do it aftermarket tune anyway
And it's alot cheaper and can gain more than 40bhp for sure since it is
a T.T now. Will pay the deposit tomorrow and how it will give me a different
Feel of driving pleasure compare to the 2010 model that I had..

I said that, that if you tune the pp makes little sense. But I'd personally rather pay more and have the factory tune. With aftermarket the warranty will not be honored and the claimed power gains are a little fishy.

went to Merc today and was planning to put in my deposit and found out that the PP is $17,000 bucks with the suede steering wheel and carbon boot lip and carbon engine cover but not with the LSD.."wht a joke" and i asked how much is the LSD and the salesman replied it will be another $13,500 for that LSD..WTF...!!and it comes with the AMG ride control suspension which can press the stiffness of the sus inside the car...!??WTF again isnt that a standard??wht a joke from MERC Australia...!!!just a LSD will cost $13,500 so the PP plus LSD will cost an extra $30K....!
