IS it safe to press the E to S button while driving; or should it only be done when in park.

I do it all of the time without any problems. 2yrs. I've heard both sides saying yes and no.

Is there a button I don't know about, or do you mean turning the knob between C-S-S+? Per the manual, it seems to be fine. The only thing that should be done when the car is stationary (or possibly in park) is moving from S+ to M. Hopefully I'm referring to what you are asking.
