Iridium Silver or Diamond White-
Debating on the two colors-
Both cars have pano and I am leaning toward the silver- I feel the silver is sort of boring and there are better options
Diamond White- My old e550 coupe was diamond white. Didnt really like the color or the car. Couldn't figure out what I didn't like more. It felt like a chicks car. The sparkes in the diamond white just throws me off.
Does anybody else think Diamond White is chickish. Got rid of the car in leass than a year.
My ideal color is artic white, can't find one anywhere
I saw a silver at the dealer and feel in love. Plus the one in questions has CF trim- one of my options that I needed
just feels dumb buying a car that is not ideal, maybe I should wait or order
it was weird....
but sometimes it looks white, or a blue-ish........depending on the incoming light...
plus they say it has the best resale value too........
I was glad for that when I traded my E63 (iridium) towards my CLS63, also in Iridium....
The car I am looking at is over optioned, only problem,

Just a few choice examples that Im personally know of:
Ferrari for instance: silvers are much harder to move as this color is one of the least desired colors for most of the F car models.
For Benz: you are correct about these two colors (white and silver), either one will be fine at the auction and/or used on a Benz Dealer lot but speciality colors like storm red and blues take longer to sell. Yes they are unique but they also only appeal to the unique and that takes more time to move especially on higher line cars.
I deal with alot with wholesalers and they absolutely drop values on used cars with harder to move colors.

Have you thought about looking outside your area, having one of the guys on here take a look at it and then drive it across country? I've been wanting to do that myself
Definitely don't limit yourself and look around the country. I did just that and drove my trade-in 600 miles and picked up the new vehicle and drove the same distance back. It's worth the time since it's fun. You save the transporting cost and transfer that cost into fuel for fun, fun, fun on the way back.

I meant between white or silver and even black. These colors wont make a difference on trade in/auction since they are prettty much common colors for an E63. Now if your E63 was pink, of course it would affect the price since demand for it would be much much less. Silver won't add value as much as say hyper blue would lower value, on comparable cars with similar options, mileage, condition, etc...

Maybe you should calculate your best case scenario as the rate right now (doubt it will go lower), then calculate your worst case possible scenario and see what the difference really is. If its a short term lease or loan may only end up being a few hundred. I hate to pay interest as much as a the next guy but a few hundred more to order exactly what you want may be worth it to you. And best case the rates won't go up and you can have you cake and eat it too. Just my 2 cents...
