"B" service question?
S/A says they need to remove, flush and replace brake fluid??? I only have 9200 miles. Does that sound right? cost is $ 153. plus the cost of the "B" service.
What are you guys paying for the "B" service? And, have you had to perform the brake service?
Thanks,

MB likes fresh brake fluid, as they should.
Its a nice thing but not necessary if you dont track or canyon drive.
Its an MB and has higher standards of maintenance than the average car.

haha, when I bought my E63 last year, part of the salesman's thing was getting me back in for services.......but why don't they realize people catch on to their BS.......
I know it's business and all, that's why I shop around.......of course if it came to a warranty issue......I'd be sitting in the showroom cars waiting for mine lol......

Brake fluid change
Yes, after reading the maintenance manual, it does call for the brake fluid to be changed every 2 yrs or 20K. I know I don't need it. I don't track the car nor do I drive that aggressive. However, if something goes wrong with the braking system, I'm sure MB would attribute it to lack of proper service and cost me an arm and leg.
Thanks for all your help.
