2013 versus 2012
Guys,
I've searched the threads and can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for:
Are there going to be any significant differences (upgrades?) in the 2013 versus the 2012 E63?
I know that the mid-model re-fresh is supposed to occur for the 2014 model year in the USA, but am wondering if getting a left over 2012 'might' be a way to save a little over ordering a 2013. I would not bother with this however if there are worthwhile changes in the 2013 model year car.
Of course the main issue is trying to decide between ordering a F10 M5 versus the E63! lol
Any help appreciated.

You will definitely get a better deal with something the dealer has in stock. Of course, as others have posted, if you really need to have something and plan to keep for a long time, then you might want to order it. As long as you are willing to buy from out of state and even cross country, I think you can find something pretty close to what you would order, but at a discount.
So far, I don't think there will be any changes between '12 and '13 model. I'm very curious on what MB will do to the exterior design, esp with the signature E-class twin headlights.
You will definitely need to wait a while for a F10 M5 if you haven't already placed your order a long time ago. By the way, if you are someone deeply concerned about crash ratings (like me), you will find that W212 is way safer than F10.

I just got the Canadian summary of the 13' model and from what I see there is not going to be an major exterior updates.
I think it's just some feature juggling with in the packages like what's included in the premium package. There's something small that changed with the instrument cluster (I can't tell the difference) and I think iPod integration.
I waited for a 13' hoping for the the exterior refresh, but no such luck!
