2013 Dealer order guide
Looking at the 2013 dealer order guide (Dated Mar 2013):
It shows two new colors available (Polar white and Diamond Silver Metallic) with Quartz Blue discontinued. Does anyone know what diamond silver metallic looks like? Google search makes it look like a silver with a very slight light blue tint, is that right?
In case anyone is interested, other changes mentioned:
1- B&O Surround Sound system is now available with a note that says "significantly compromises trunk space due to location of spare above trunk floor"
2- Keyless go can now be ordered as a standalone option
3- Comfort box can be ordered for the sedans
4- Launch date is shown as 7/2012 for everything including E400 except E350 bluetec (10/2012)
No mention of any other changes including anything about iphone integration.

Interesting so many outlets had a relatively major refresh pegged for the 2013 model year.

Better check out the colors in person at dealerships once it comes out to get an accurate idea.
B&O!...I was wondering when they would make that available. Still, I would just stick with the H&K since I can't take the B&O with me when I sell the car. Moreover, I would rather spend the $$ on having a better sound system inside my house. Taking up trunk space?!...Now that's just ridiculous. It reminds me of those teenagers' cars whose entire trunk is filled with batteries, large speakers, subwoofers, and neon lights LOL. Save that for people with the wagon to have that extra room.
What's a comfort box?

Agree. I'm thinking that it could still happen as a mid-year refresh or release to EU first sort of thing. The 2013 launch date is 3 months earlier then MY12, ie the majority MY12 E-Class cars were released 10/2012 vs 7/2012 for MY13. So, they could run MY13 for 6 months (production start is this June) to end of the year and then release the redesign in Jan/Mar 2013 as MY14.
BTW, B&O is listed as $6400 option. Makes the Porsche Burmeister system look cheap!

I would rather spend the $6400 on the P30 package and the LSD. I rarely turn on the music except when crusing at contant speed on the highway. Afterall, there is no better ear candies than the sound of the engine for this car, whether it is M156 or M157.
Good link to the pix. I'm seeing it for the first time: It might grow on me, but I don't like it outright. Just doesn't look right. There is just no way to replace the signature 4 headlights on the E. Per those pictures, the front end change is quite dramatic. Manufacturer just want to make things look different so people will be willing able to fork out the cash to buy brand now cars that others can tell as brand-new. Sure, things need to be updated, but I don't see 2 years old design as "dated." The current W212 design is still as fresh as the day it came out IMHO. If this new design is true, it's going to be hard telling lots of MB cars apart from a distance. Just look at Bimmers, especially the 5 and 7 series--both look nearly the same at a quick turn of the head, just different sizes.

2013 E350 Wagon, prev 2005 ML 500 SE
2013 order guide??
thanks, any way to post that 2013 dealer order guide?
I just ordered 2013 E 350 wagon but dealer claims they have no info on it yet.
I'm sure others would also love to see the 13 E guide.
Any E Wagon with BlueTec and 4Matic??
Thanks

I don't want to get my dealer in trouble by posting. The order guide is definitely out, so your dealer should be able to get it without issue.
In terms of models, bluetec and hybrid are shown as e-sedan only. In fact, if you look at the 2012 guide showing the availability of models/configurations, 2013 is identical except for the addition of the E400 hybrid sport (100%) under E-Sedan.
For a non-AMG car, it looks like you can order keyless-go for $650 without needing to order the p02 package.

So the B&O System takes the spare tire space, effectively eliminating the spare, unless you want it on the floor in the middle of your trunk?
Should it not sound great though?
Anyone heard B&O in other cars?
