2012 ECU tuning
Is there any tuners that tune in person without me going through the hassle of removing and shipping the ecu
I am new to ecu tuning and dont know much about it

I personally like to be close to my tuner too just in case there are updates or changes.
not many tuners up in Norcal
Did you tune right away or give it some miles first
just hoping my engine doesn't blow up
i was shocked that i actually mailed it and got it back tuned in under 48hrs.i felt the power increase for sure, but in your car it will be a huge increase in power.your car will go close to 700hp/700ft-lb crank from just a tune.
as far as getting it on the dyno,i really don't think it would be necessary in your case, but i think they might could squeeze another 5-10 hp out of it having your car literally on the dyno while they tune.i also think you might be paying quite a bit more for that service.
my point is,pick a tuner say OE or Weistec, not knocking other tuners, but i have never heard anything bad about either OE or Weistec and their numbers are proven.call them up and get instructions about removal of ECU,send it off while your car sits still about 48hrs,get it back, put it in and your off.
make sure your keys aren't in your pocket when you pull the ECU if you have key-less go.

I think AMS just mentioned they are located at West Chicago, which is only 70 miles from me but thousands of miles from San Jose.

I love the tune- it has clearly woken up a car that is already alive!! Here is my post on his tune. I have OE's tunes on both my CLS and E M157TT engines:
