I'm back
After a 3 year hiatus in an 09 M5, I'm getting a '12 E63 perf package next week. Had an 07 E63 so I've had one before. Major complaint about the M5 was the anemic torque. Loved the side bolsters and the soft close doors plus the awesome handling. I was tempted to get another M5, but heard not a lot of great things about them (car and driver article for one) and that the E63 really stepped up the game in the handling department. Excited to take delivery next week.
Is there an AMG splash screen like the 07 had I can enable? How about disabling the Park requirement to watch DVD movies?

I have not come across anything that would suggest an answer to your second question.

There is some module floating around that enables the dvd to be played during driving. I'm not sure where to find it,but I think there was a post in the w212 non amg forum about it. Maybe do a search over there. From what I remember it wasn't expensive at all... Good luck with the new ride, I'm sure it will be sick. Post pics when you get it...
