2012 E63 front grille removal?

2012 E63 front grille removal?
any help would be appreciated, looks like it pops right out but it also looks like if i do pull on it that all the clips or a few will break, should i just paint it on the car?

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
The possibility is high for multiple chippings from highway debris can happen if you just paint it on the car. Initially it will look good, but it wouldn't last.

Removal is a 5 min job tops. Remove air scoops and the top plastic cover. Un screw the top part holding the grill in place (10 key IIRC) and click out the bottom. No issues with clips breaking off.
