I saw it this morning. Not a fan of the new front end, gone are the ponton rears.

I wonder what the rear looks like. Overall, the rounded and curving front features seem to clash with the overall angular and muscular lines of this car's original design. Sorry, I'm not a fan of the new front based on this photo.

 

The front should still have sharp features but it seems like they go back and forth between round and sharp

Looking good.. I like the front, bumper cover looks more like a F430 as previous reports have said. Need more shots with no camo.

i dont hate it, but i think the big openings on the bottom should be more angular to go with the rest of the look of the car...otherwise besides the side skirts, it looks the same going back

dont like that there is no hood emblem, thats traditional mercs i say

wonder if a us current peoples will be able to do a aftermarket update

While that looks absolutely amazing in my opinion, isn't it too soon for a facelift? I mean the E-Class has only been out since 2010. Aren't facelifts normally due half-way through the life-cycle?

 

Not what I was expecting. The front shouldn't be round. Needs to be more aggressive. The lights kind of look like the previous-gen CLS...

Looks amazing, absolutely love the front end! It's what I expected/wanted the 212 AMG to look like from the start. It now looks sporty enough for me to consider as a replacement for the CLS 63, the previous one was just too traditional for my tastes, not AMG enough.

I notice it has a double line grill like the new SL63/65 and G63/65; I guess this is rolling out on all new AMGs? The rear has exhausts shaped like the new SL63 too, based on spy shots.

Hope it doesn't release too soon though! Should be mid/late 2014, any earlier and I imagine that'll sucks for current owners.

I bet it will be available in Spring. I mean it looks ready.
