Anyone here race their M157 on Drag Radials?
I need help/suggestions on how to get my 2012 E63 w/ RENNtech tune & BMC filters to launch better. I'm running the MT 265/40/18 DR's and can't get better than a 1.81 60'. I'm not spinning at all it's actually just bogging and/or not putting enough power to the wheels to get a better 60'. I've tried the following 3 methods of launching without any success:
1)Foot-braking anywhere from idle to ~2000rpms with traction OFF using S+
2)RACESTART
3)Foot-braking anywhere from idle to ~2000rpms in Dyno Mode using S+
I would imagine I should be able to pull 1.6x 60's on the drag radials. Any advice from people who have achieved ~1.6x 60's or better themselves in their M157 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm trying my hardest to run a 10. I have the power, I just need to get a decent 60'. I'll be back to the track Saturday hopefully with some new launch methods to try out.

Have you tired foot breaking it and shifting in Manual mode with ESP off....or rather than loading it up, just hitting it hard from the beams ( to eliminate the bog )
Which method gave you the best 60 foot?
The Renntech CLS ran a 10.98 @ 129 with a 1.79 60 foot....it doesn't look like they're loading it up either

I run BFG 275-35-18 drag radials.( not as sticky as your MTs)
2012 E 63 PP stock
TC off S+ start with decent burnout.
No rev build up just nail it and turn consistent 1.80-60' times and 11.60s 1/4 mi times.

Pretty much all methods i've tried gave 60' times in the low 1.80's at times, however RACESTART was the most consistent.

Yeah that's where i'm stuck... low 1.8's. With the power these cars make both stock and tuned they should be able to run 1.6x 60's no problem on drag radials.

Thx that was my first time out being modified. I ended up making 4 runs that day and ended with a 10.98. I need to pick up a pair of front skinnies and either recharge or get a new Braille battery before I head back out to the track.
I don't know which one of your rides I like more the ZR1 or E63. I have one of your runs on video if you pm me your email address I can send it to you.

don't hit the padel hard, just feather it first gear from dig,
to be more clear
rev to 1500rpm with break by left foot when the go sign is on, remove your left foot from the break and press the accelerator a bit more than when it starts reach 20mil before it shifts to 2nd hit it hard.
i got 1.9 in 60' with Nitto Invo tires and ran 11.4 ^_^ @ 203km Yas Marina circuit.
so I think with MT tires you should get 1.6-1.7 at least.
you have to check tire pressure, etc, every conditon should be good.

Exactly what he said!
I your tire pressure is around 20 psi, do a smokey burnout, ESP off S+ and nail the throttle.... I think the bog could be coming from you loading up at the line.
If you can get a 1.6 60 foot thats awesome. But these cars are really heavy. Weight plays a major roll in a 2wd cars ability to launch. I think you can hit a 10 in the right weather conditions. Good Luck!
Just my 2 cents
