FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Those leaked images have shown up at various places in the last 6 hours or so. That front is definitely a no go for me, especially the front on the wagon. The car has obviously lost its Ponton lines at the rear. Overall, the rounded front just doesn't seem to tie in well with the original sharp and muscular lines. The taillights are okay, but I would still prefer the current taillights.

Stepping away from traditional styling is good, but it's still important to have distinction, not just for the brand as a whole but between different models. It's definitely not a good idea to become like BMW, where 3, 5, and 7 series all look similar, just difference in size. Remember the famous quote by Bruno Sacco: "A Mercedes-Benz must always look like a Mercedes-Benz."

I guess I will have to see the redesign in person. Sometimes it looks totally different in person. However, it doesn't look good at this point.

Well said. It looks like a half baked mid cycle refresh. Much prefer the current front end which works better with the sides.

The new headlights looks cool by themselves. But the appearance of the front end as a whole with the new headlights is really nothing exciting.
