Do
I don't have either but was speaking with Cory @ kleeman and said there is no difference from stage 1 ( no dp) compared to stage 2 dp except removing cel. I would imagine your car should be faster even before the new tune

Very interesting, right after the dp install i took it for a test drive and car absolutely felt faster, my problem is when i hit the highway it felt like it wasn't consistant I thought a tune would help with that, and I never got a cel light after installing the dp's

Just got off phone with Renntech and they said after downpipes they highly recommend a retune, Sp the ecu can recognize the downpipes and it should make more power! Now has mine recognized the downpipes yet I did put over 500 miles on it since the install?
Renntech did say they do not charge for the retune all they charge is shipping of the ecu to and from.

After installing my downpipes, i sent my ECU back for a re-tune and honestly i did not feel any difference on my butt dyno. However, my 100-200 time dropped from 7.0s to 6.5s (although the runs were done under different road conditions so it may not be very accurate)
I managed to run level with a claimed 700bhp stage 2 GTR and killed a exhaust + tune F10 M5 so I've got no complaints so far

Yes my tune and intercooler are from Renntech but my downpipes were custom made at a local exhaust shop. I would say the difference after installing the downpipes alone is much bigger than the difference felt after retuning for the downpipes. I did a rolling run from 1st gear but it helped that i was on R888 tyres at the time.
I would like a race gas tune too but i think the difficulty would be flashing the ECU between race map and street map in between races. There is no device that allows this.

I recently installed Speedriven downpipes for myEurocharged tuned CL 65. The check engine light came on immediately, which I thought was odd because my tuner informed me he could turn it off. After many weeks, I finally thought to replace the 2nd o2 sensor. While doing this, the mechanic removed the 90 degree o2 extensions that were built in to the down pipes. He said that the sensors needed to be in the exhaust stream. So my question is this- considering I have a tune, why or why not do I need the 90 degree extension? Thanks.

Interesting post as I am having similar issues with a CEL with similar set up with after market dp with high flow cats but I also have a O2 extension. My tune is for not cats and I fire a cel related to O2 sensors every time I drive the car hard. Had a long discussion with a kleeman tech which was more knowledgeable than any tuner and said that most likely one of my 02 is bad or going bad
So for Op, did changing your O2 and removing the extension help

CEL after down pipe install
That's what concerns me- the CEL came back after a couple weeks. This was after I put in a new O2 sensor, and flashed the ecu with the Eurocharged tune designed for the down pipes CEL, and after the installers removed the 90 degree extensions. So yes, I felt like I was back to square one. As for the O2 extensions, the best I can determine is they're for catless systems without a tune. If you have a tune for catless downpipes, then the extensions aren't needed, and the sensors need to be in the exhaust stream.
As my usual course of events, I scoured the internet and this forum for answers for the CEL. The only thing I found on here that sounded safe and reasonable was to disconnect the negative battery terminal and hope for the best. Once I did that, the CEL was gone. But I don't believe I fixed the problem, and I expect it to come back. Like your guy from Kleeman said, I think the CEL come back because of another bad O2. Hell, I got 4 of them at around 70,000 miles- seems like a likely culprit. I got the last one, (OEM), on the internet for $70, and had Meineke installed it for $30. I figure I'll keep replacing them one at a time if the CEL comes back.
