Hey guys,

My transmission is doing things that are far from desireable. When I am just starting(second gear start) the transmission sometimes(but not always) slips. EX: the RPM's rise fairly quickly, but I feel almost no power getting through and MINIMAL acceleration. Keep in mind, this occurs over a very short period of time, probably under 2 seconds. Has anyone experienced this?

Also, when I'm slowing down for a speed bump I will give it some throttle as my rear wheels are on the speed bump and at the same time, the car does an awquardly late downshift, resulting in a clunk type feeling and a slight amount if jerkiness.

Let me know if you have experienced any of this, car is a 2012 E63 P30,

I might be also experiencing this, I boost it and it doesn't really move sometimes and then other times its insane

 

I've had a few issues with my transmission too, mainly with brutally hard downshifts from 3rd to 2nd when in manual or sport + mode right from when the car was new. It only happened when the engine was at operating temperature, but not when the engine was cold. Had the fluid flushed and replaced at around 3000KM and that fixed the problem. Had one experience when I floored it merging from a yield onto a freeway; the car revved like a banshee and the transmission bucked violently. Remember when you first learned to drive a stick shift, and those times you let the clutch out way too fast? Felt like that. Had the same experience once or twice with my '09 CLS 550.

 

only episodes ive had are in sport plus, if i go hard , and then im slowed to stops, when i start again and put my foot down it can get jump until it goes to 2

 

it does it on C mode mostly if the car is moving backwards and you put it in D and step it slightly.

i call it charging like the the E60 M5. LOL

Edit: i used to have it when i was stock. LOL.

 

I saw a post about issues with the tranny slipping and I happily replied no. Right after I started experiencing it. Weird downshifts and reving with no acc.

It's spuratic but noticing it more and more.

Is anybody that has these issues have tunes
